The following concepts need to be understood by everyone, including beginner users:
SSH sessions use public keys for two main purposes: server authentication, and client authentication. Both processes work very similarly, but they involve separate sets of keys. When discussing a specific public key in the context of SSH, it is important to be aware whether the key is intended to authenticate the server, or a client.
I will describe here how to install and setup Bitvise SSH Client (Tunnelier) for Windows. Also there will be step-by-step manual of the key generation process and client setting up to create secure connection to a SSH server. Tunnelier is client for Windows for both SSH and SFTP. This is a very nice and easy to use product. Bitvise SSH Client 7.43 provides you with the capability of connecting to SFTP servers using your regular FTP client. It does that by tunneling your connection to the SFTP server through SSH in order to deliver the client with the necessary security requirements.
